St. Nicholas Festivities

Would you like to know the real St. Nicholas?

We will honor him with hymns and intercessory prayers during Great Vespers (Dec-5, 6 pm) and Artoclasia (Blessing of the Five Loaves) in our sancturary, and afterwards with a retelling of his holy life at 7 pm in our Community Center during which a reception with fasting desserts and hot cocoa will be offered, with decorating of our parish Christmas tree.

Thursday morning, Dec-6, we will continue the festivities by celebrating a Divine Liturgy in his honor (8:30 Matins and 9:30 Liturgy).

We are asking everyone to bring a lenten dessert or snack, and all the children to bring an extra pair of shoes that will be blessed in the church by St. Nicholas in a special way.
