Education, Culture, and Youth Diakonia

Home   Education, Culture, and Youth Diakonia

Our beloved presiding Archbishop, His Eminence Metropolitan Alexios of Atlanta, has asked all of His parishes to form an “Education, Culture and Youth Diakonia” committee, consisting of the leaders of each of these ministries, so that together with our Parish Council President and the Proistamenos (“Presiding Priest”) of the church, every aspect of these important areas can be properly overseen.

St. Katherine has done so, and together with the Parish Council, the leaders of all our parish ministries, and the entire community, we are building a better future for St. Katherine and the people we serve.

Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. Are all apostles?

“Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? But earnestly desire the best gifts.

1 Corinthians 12:27-30
